8 and 9 February 2025, Dubai – R-ace GP’s efforts finally paid off this weekend in Dubai, at the third round of the Formula Regional Middle East. The French team took two wins in races 1 and 2, as well as a second place in race 3.
Race 1
Having qualified third, Ugo Ugochukwu (#7) took the lead and quickly extended his lead over his rivals. Despite several incidents and the safety car coming out, the leader kept a cool head. Later, a crash brought the race to a premature halt, which ended with Ugo Ugochukwu’s victory. Enzo Deligny (#1) finished 8th, followed by Jin Nakamura (#2) and Akshay Bohra (#3), 10th and 11th respectively.
Race 2
Jin Nakamura started from pole position* and dominated the race from green light to chequered flag, giving R-ace GP its second win of the weekend. Ugo Ugochukwu finished 5th, Akshay Bohra 6th and Enzo Deligny 8th.
Race 3
Ugo Ugochukwu was once again on the podium, this time in second place. Enzo Deligny crossed the line in 4th place, while Jin Nakamura finished 12th and Akshay Bohra 18th.
These excellent results allow R-ace GP to climb to third place in the team standings.
The fourth round of the championship will take place in Abu Dhabi on 15 and 16 February.

* The starting grid is determined by the classification of race 1, according to the reverse grid principle. This principle applies to the top 10 only. The winner therefore starts from 10th place, and the 10th from pole position.
